Mandy Monk
A qualified Early Years Practitioner with over 25 years of experience working within a range of early years settings. She has extensive experience from working in a number of roles including Nursery Practitioner, School Practitioner, Child-minding Network Coordinator, College Lecturer Early Years & Health & Social Care, Trainer for CACHE & CITY GUILDS Child Care & Young Peoples Workforce, Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer, Safeguarding Facilitator for Levels 1 & 2 and Foster Carer.
Mandy has worked with, and alongside, a number of local authorities including Lancashire, Wigan, Salford, Tameside, Trafford, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen, delivering a wide range of training and staff development packages including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Behaviour Management and many other current aspects of the EYFS.
She has also worked as an associate Safeguarding Trainer and consultant working for a number of training providers throughout the North West, including being an Approved Safeguarding Level 1 & 2 Trainer for Lancashire County Council in 2012.
